Choose your university & program

Browse our database, filter by city and program level. Check your CGPA against each university's requirements. Shortlist 3–5 options.

Get your documents attested

Attest through HEC Pakistan → Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad → Austrian Embassy in Islamabad. This process takes 4–8 weeks.

03

Take language tests

IELTS 6.0–7.0 for English-taught programs. Goethe-Institut or TestDaF for German programs. Results valid for 2 years.

Apply via university portal

Each university has its own portal. Apply before the deadline — typically June–September for October (Winter) intake.

Receive admission letter

You'll receive a Zulassungsbescheid (official admission letter). This is mandatory for your student visa appointment.

06

Apply for student visa (Type D)

Book an appointment at the Austrian Embassy in Islamabad. Submit admission letter, proof of €14,000/year in funds, health insurance.
